荒れ野

家の前の通りを、夜中に大声をあげて通る人が多くなった。

ここ数年の変化だ。

夜中といっても十時や十一時ならまだわかるが、深夜三時ごろに大声で通る人がいるのである。

大体は酔っ払いだ。

しかも最近は女性が多いのが特徴である。

それだけではない。

警察が深夜にサイレンを鳴らしている事もたびたびある。

もともと静かな通りであったのに、残念なことである。

それだけ世の中が荒れてきているのだろう。

家の中にいてまでも平和に過ごせない事が多くなってきた、と痛切に感じる。

 

荒れ果てた世界。

聖書ではこの世の中を荒れ野と呼んでいる。

しかし、神と共にいる世界である事を楽園とも呼んでいる。

そう、この世界は本来は楽園なのだ。

神が世界に介在している事を忘れてしまったことが、荒れ野を作っているのである。

 

現在が仮に荒れ果てた世界であっても、希望のある未来の世界とつながっていたいものだ。

Wilderness

 

 

Many people passed loudly in the middle of the night in the street in front of the house.

It has changed over the last few years.

Although it is still acceptable if it is 10 or 11 o'clock at night, some people pass loudly at around 3 o'clock in the morning.

It's almost drunk.

Recently, it is characterized by many women.

That is not all.

Often police are sounding a siren at midnight.

Although it was originally a quiet street, it is a pity.

Perhaps the world is getting desolated.

I feel painful that it is increasing that things can not be peaceful even while staying in the house.

 

The desolated world.

The Bible calls this world a desolate land.

But the Bible calls the paradise as being a world with God.

Yes, this world is a paradise.

To forget that God is intervening in the world makes a wilderness.

 

Even in the world where the present is temporarily desolated, I would like to connect with a hopeful future world.
