「亀の歩み」
私は何事もちょっとずつしかできない。
亀ヶ谷という名前の通り、亀の歩みである。
よく速読で、短い時間に本を何冊も読むという人もいるが、そんな名人芸は到底真似できない。
何事も本当に、ちょっとずつしかできないのである。
本を読むだけでなく、絵を描くにも、文章を書くにも、ゲームをするにも、ちょっとずつしか進まないのだ。
だからその分、人より歩みが遅い。
使う脳の違う事を、立て続けに行うせいもある。
いっぺんに色んな事をしようと思っているからだ。
アーティストは、色んな事をしなくては成り立たない職業なので、絵だけ描いてれば良いという事ではないからだ。
まあ、絵だけ描いてれば、何時間でもいけるかもしれない。
あと、私の集中力が長続きしないせいもある。
３０分くらいの短い時間に一点集中なら得意であるが、９０分くらいの長い時間の集中が苦手である。
でも希望はある。
逆に言えば、30分でできることなら大体のことはキリの良いところまで片付いてしまうからだ。
私はちょっとずつしかできないが、中身の濃い30分なら、1日に何回も繰り返すことはできるということだ。

I can do everything little by little.
As the name Kamegaya suggests, it is the history of turtles.
Some people often read quickly and read many books in a short amount of time, but I can't imitate such a masterpiece.
Everything can really be done little by little.
Not only reading books, but also drawing pictures, writing sentences, playing games, etc., progress little by little.
That's why I'm slower than people.
It's also because I do different things in a row with different brains.
Because I'm thinking of doing various things at once.
This is because an artist is a profession that cannot be achieved without doing various things, so it is not enough to just draw a picture.
Well, I could go for hours if I just drew a picture.
Another reason is that my concentration doesn't last long.
I am good at concentrating on one point in a short time of about 30 minutes, but I am not good at concentrating on a long time of about 90 minutes.
But there is hope.
To put it the other way around, if I can do it in 30 minutes, most of the things will be done to the best of my ability.
I can only do it little by little, but if it's a rich 30 minutes, I can repeat it many times a day.
