「愛は傷を受けて本物となる」
愛は、愛される事でなく愛する事である。
人を愛していればあらゆる恐れは消える。
敵対する人間も、愛していれば仲間に変わる。
敵を自分のように心から愛する。
これがキリスト教最大の愛の教えである。
私は芸術で人に愛を説くのも仕事のうちだ。
でもその見返りに、ずけずけと目の前で批判されたり、見えない物陰で良くない噂をされたりと、ネガティブな対応を人から受ける時には、流石に不安になる。
こんなに人を愛しているのに。
こんなに世界を愛しているのに。
そのためにこんなに働いているのに、君たちはわからないのか？と。
でもそういう人たちから傷を受けて、愛は初めて本物の愛になるのかも知れない。
人と世界を愛し抜いたキリストが、左脇腹を刺し抜かれて処刑されたように。
愛は傷を受けて本物となるのである。
そこから和解と調和が生まれ、平和が訪れるのだ。
"Love gets hurt and becomes real"
Love is not to be loved, but to love from here.
If you love people, all fears will disappear.
Hostile humans also turn into companions if you love them.
"I love my enemies as if I were myself."
This is Christianity's greatest teaching of love.
It's part of my job to preach love to people through art.
However, in return, when people give me a negative response, such as being criticized in front of me or being rumored to be bad in the shadow of an invisible person, I am anxious.
I love people so much.
I love the world so much.
I'm working so hard for that, don't you guys know?
But love may become real love for the first time after being hurt by such people.
Like Christ, who loved people and the world, was pierced through his left flank and executed.
Love is hurt and becomes real.
From there, reconciliation and harmony are born, and peace comes.
