「敵わないほど高くなれ」
今の日本で、周りと比べて1人だけ違うことをしている人は、大きな不安があるだろう。
インターネットやSNSが普及しても、右へ倣えの日本社会の雰囲気はなかなか変わらない。
日本は伝統的に、異質な人間は排除される村文化なのだ。
この日本で特異性を武器にして戦うのは相当の試練である。
この日本にも様々な開拓人・イノベーターがいるだろう。
何もそれは今始まったばかりのことでなく、日本史を紐解けば、様々な人間が実際の日本社会を変えてきた。
今も昔も必要なのは、相当の批判を受けても、執拗なイジメも受けてもへこたれない、熱いスピリットである。
あいつは変だ。
おかしい。
頭が狂っている。
違うことをしていると、大体はそうやって世間様に後ろ指を指される。
それを覚悟し、忍耐して、精進しなきゃいけない。
「出る杭は打たれるが、出過ぎた杭は誰も打てない。」
と、偉大な元野球選手・イチローが言っている。
そう、それになってしまえばいいのである。
聖書から喩えれば、バベルの塔のように、丈夫なレンガで誰も敵わないほど高く積み上げてしまえば、神様以外は誰も壊せない。
冷やかされたり笑われたりしているうちに、自分を磨き、そういう頑丈なお城に自分がなってしまえば良いのである。
誰も敵わないほど高くなろう。
