「心の急ぐ人には芸術村」
山梨県芸術村から東京に帰ってきた。
帰りのバスが新宿の街並みに入ると気がついた。
行き交う人々みんな、歩くのが早いなあ。
誰一人としてゆっくり歩いていない。
時間に追われ生き急いでいる人ばかりだ。
田舎じゃそんなに急いで歩く人は滅多にいない。
都会人はとにかく足が速いと改めて思った。
心が忙しいと、足つきも忙しい。
それと、周りの人が早く歩くので、自分もそれに合わせるのではないだろうか。
そうやって周りの人の心の忙しさに、知らず識らずの内に自分も同調してしまうわけだ。
お互いよそよそしいのに足並みを合わせている。
それじゃあ、気ばかり急いで心に温かみもなく、心は枯れてしまうばかりじゃないだろうか。
そう言う心が急ぐ人たちの為にこそ、芸術村が必要だ。
大自然の田舎の山で、アートとキャンプを通して訪れた時だけでも心に余裕を持って欲しい。
訪れた人が、その人本来の悠々とした姿を思い起こして欲しいと思う。
"Art village for those in a hurry"
I came back to Tokyo from the art village of Yamanashi prefecture.
When the return bus entered the streets of Shinjuku, I noticed.
Everyone who comes and goes walks fast.
No one is walking slowly.
All of them are in a hurry because of time.
In the countryside, few people walk so quickly.
I thought again that the urban people were quick.
When your heart is busy, your feet are also busy.
Also, the people around you walk faster, so maybe you'll match that too.
That's how you get along with the busyness of the people around you without knowing it.
Although they are aloof to each other, they are in step with each other.
Then you're in a hurry, no warmth in your heart, and your heart will just die.
An art village is necessary for those who are in a hurry.
I want you to feel at ease even when you visit through art and camping in the mountains of the countryside of nature.
I want the visitor to remember the person's original laid-back appearance.
