「芸術村2日目」
2日目は雨がすっかり上がり朝から素晴らしく晴れ渡った。
快晴そのものだ。
芸術村の新緑が、バンガローの水色屋根に映えて、瑞々しくとても綺麗である。
太陽の暖かな光が、晴れやかに芸術村を包み込む。
今日は朝から親方さんが現場に来た。
親方さんには、ロシア戦争の影響で鉄の材料がなかなか入らず、部品が欠品しているので、東家完成まで工期が遅れることを説明された。
完成は来月まで持ち越しの見込みである。
まあ仕方ない。。。
その分、余計楽しみにしていよう。
それと夜勤の仕事終わりに村の生徒さんが顔を見に訪ねてきた。
そのついでに私から、5月の個展のDMと三つ折り芸術村パンフレットを何部か渡した。
彼には今回持ってきた私の師匠の絵・瀧川隆先生の絵も見せてあげた。
彼はその絵を見て、すごいすごいと感動していた。
今日は会計ソフトやレシート貼りなど、経理の仕事をした。
親方さんが3時頃に仕事を終えて帰ってからは、先月甲斐駒ヶ岳ハウスに入れておいたドラムセットを物置まで運び一汗流した。
夕方になり、さあ今日も終わったなというところで、先ほどの生徒さんから電話があり、新作を描いたので見て講評してほしいと連絡が来た。
私は「わかりました。」と、見てあげる事にして1時間後に彼が芸術村に来た。
彼の新作は抽象画だ。
今回は孤高の天才画家・平野遼を目標にして描いてみたと言う。
今夏の新作は2枚目で、青い画面にイルカのようなシルエットが浮かび、赤い火の玉が三つある、そんなふうな作品だった。
前回の作品よりも数段レベルアップしているな、と思った。
そして、講評を始め、そのまま2時間ばかり彼と絵画談義をした。
終わると彼に連れられて、大泉の蕎麦屋「藤野屋」に夕飯を食べに行った。
大盛りの上天ぷら盛りそばと、名物・鳥もつ煮を食べた。
美味い！
さすが彼は良い店を知っている。
彼は村の郵便局長だった方で、挨拶回りに方々を回るので知り合いが多いのだ。
店の奥さんとは仲良しな感じで、彼は着くなり「日本酒、洗面器で１杯持ってきて。」とジョークを飛ばしていた。
そこで面白かったのは、奥さんが本当に日本酒をとっくりで持ってきた事だ。
「嘘だよ、嘘。今日は帰りも運転するから。。。」
「なんだあ、嘘なのね？」
そんなやりとりに、つい笑ってしまった。
そんなこんなで1日が終わり、充実した芸術村2日目であった。
"Art Village Day 2"
On the second day, the rain stopped completely and it cleared up wonderfully from the morning.
It's fine weather itself.
The fresh green of the art village shines on the light blue roof of the bungalow, and it is fresh and very beautiful.
The warm light of the sun radiantly envelops the art village.
The master of the construction shop came to the site from this morning.
He explained to me that the construction period would be delayed until the completion of the Azumaya because iron materials were difficult to enter due to the Russian war and parts were out of stock.
Completion is expected to be carried over to next month.
Well it can't be helped. .. ..
Let's look forward to that much.
Also, at the end of the night shift, a village student came to see my face.
In addition, I handed over the DM of my solo exhibition in May and some pamphlets of the art village folded in three.
I also showed him the picture of my teacher, Takashi Takikawa, which I brought this time.
He was very impressed when he saw the painting.
Today I did accounting work such as accounting software and receipt pasting.
After the carpenter's master finished his work around 3 o'clock and returned home, I carried the drum set I had put in Kaikomagatake House last month to the storeroom and sweated.
In the evening, when it was over today, the student called me and asked me to see and comment on the new work.
I said, "OK," he came to the art village an hour later.
His new work is an abstract painting.
This time, he tried to draw with the goal of Ryo Hirano, a solitary genius painter.
This new work is the second one, with a blue screen with a dolphin-like silhouette and three red fireballs.
I thought it was a few steps higher than the previous work.
Then, I started to comment and had a painting discussion with him for about two hours.
After that, he took me to Oizumi's soba restaurant "Fujinoya" for dinner.
I ate a large serving of top tempura soba and the famous chicken motsuni.

As expected he knows a good store.
He was the postmaster of the village, and he has many acquaintances because he goes around greetings.
Feeling close to the wife of the store, he made a joke when he arrived, saying, "Put a glass of sake in the washbasin and bring it."
What was interesting there was that his wife really brought sake.
"It's a lie, a lie. I'll drive home today ..."
"Why is that a lie?"
I just laughed at such an exchange.
That was the end of the day, and it was the second day of a fulfilling art village.
